Laptops for the Village
Hey everybody,
Electricity has arrived in Taru, Kenya. With electricity, computers and Internet have the ability to dramatically broaden the scope of students' knowledge and understanding of the world. Additionally, email, and other Internet-based connections will allow for easy, regular communication between the states and the village. As part of our Village to Village program, we are collecting lightly used laptop computers to send over for the village schools. These computers will be used by the students and community leaders to learn more about the world and stay connected with their community connections here in Lake Oswego. If you have a lightly used laptop computer that you would like to donate, please e-mail us at beyondourbubble@yahoo.com.
Asante Sana
